Data We Collect: Child name, DOB, address, parent/carer names, phone, email, emergency contacts, GP details, medical conditions, allergies, dietary needs, immunisations, ethnicity/language (for EYFS), learning journals, observations, photos/videos with consent, website usage IP & cookies.

Lawful Basis: Contract (to provide childcare), Legal Obligation (Ofsted, EYFS, safeguarding, tax), Legitimate Interest (managing business, safety), Consent (photos for website/social — withdraw anytime).

Purpose: Provide safe childcare, meet EYFS, communicate with parents, fulfil legal duties, process funded hours, maintain accounts.

Retention: Children's learning & medical records kept until child reaches 21 years & 3 months per Ofsted & insurance requirements. Accounts 6 years. Website logs 12 months.

Sharing: Only with Ofsted, London Borough of Haringey, HMRC, NHS or safeguarding teams if required by law. Never sold. Processors: PACEY for insurance, accounting software.

Your Rights: Access, rectification, erasure (where not legally required to retain), restriction, objection, data portability. Contact us to exercise.

Terms & Conditions - Childminder Pro

1. Agreement: Website info is general. Childcare subject to separate Childminding Contract & Policies (illness, behaviour, fees).

2. Fees & Payment: £7.50/hr, £65/day, £35/half, £12/hr babysitting. Invoiced 4 weeks in advance, payable by bank transfer. Late payment fee £10. 4 weeks written notice to terminate. Deposit of 2 weeks fees may be required for new starters.

3. Hours & Late Pickup: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm. Late pickup £10 per 15 mins to cover staffing. Emergency contact must be reachable.

4. Illness & Medication: 48hr exclusion for sickness/diarrhoea, follow UKHSA guidance. Prescribed medication only with written consent form.

5. Liability: We provide care with reasonable skill. Not liable for indirect loss, loss of earnings. Liability limited to fees paid in last 3 months except for death/personal injury due to negligence. Public Liability insurance held.
